Eventually we had to leave the dogs and head on, and it wasn't far until we got to Karasjok (Norwegian 'sj' = English 'sh'). The town was pretty quiet on Palm Sunday, so we just went for a walk on the river. Karasjok is the administrative center of the Sami people (native people of northern Scandinavia, northern Finland, and northwestern Russia) in Norway, and the building in the background is the Sami parliament.
