Kandalaksha seen from the sea in the setting sun. A lot smaller than Murmansk, there was not much to do here, and we definitely stood out as visitors. They obviously don't get many foreigners here, except some Finns coming across the nearby border; the people working at the hotel didn't speak any English, just some Finnish, which is less helpful than Russian.
